Igho:
Thanks.
I await the input of the Ijaw and Itsekiri delegations, if any is forthcoming.

You will recall that you wrote down, VERBATIM, the text of the motion
to adjourn. It is our position that any Report you and Philip produce
should include the full text of the Motion to Adjourn. It is not
sufficient for you to say that a motion to adjourn was "moved by so-and
so and seconded by so- and so." We took time to ensure that
the motion was read and copied by
you including the accepted amendment to the motion. It was also
agreed at the conference that the Motion to Adjourn be part of the
Report. If you intend to discard the full text of the Motion
to Adjourn from the Report, then I suggest that you seriously reconsider
such an action. Once again, it is imperative that the Motion to Adjourn
be included VERBATIM in the Report. It is an integral part
of the Report, and cannot be edited or omitted from the Report.
Furthermore, your decision to exclude documents that were sent to you
after July 24, after you had said they would be included, should
also be reconsidered. The Urhobo documents were forwarded to you
and Philip as part of our submissions that were demanded at
the conference. We copied the other delegations.
THIS IS OUR LAST COMMENT ON THIS ISSUE WHILE AWAITING A COPY OF THE
REPORT.
