AGENDA
The goals of this Congress are to:

i. Achieve harmony among our people at home to ensure an immediate end to the present hostilities.

ii. To ensure a lasting peace in the long term.

iii. To help further the interests of all our people in the area by getting involved in processes that will lead to the betterment of our area.

a. In revenue allocation

b. In reduction of the impact of oil exploration and exploitation on our ecosystem.

c. In the management of our towns, villages, and rivers.

1. Discussion of causes of the present crisis.

i. Immediate causes

ii. Remote causes

2. Discussion of Solutions to the crisis.

i. Short term solutions

ii. Long term solutions

3. Recommendations for Avoidance of such Crisis in the Future

4. Future Status of the present Coalition of ethnic groups for Peace in the Western Niger Delta.

i. Discontinue or

ii. Continue as a more inclusive organization (welcome other ethnic groups in the area, like the Isoko, etc) if so iii. Establish as a non-profit organization with a name to be worked out in the future, or

iv. Remain as an ad-hoc organization residing in the various ethnic organizations, i.e., an understanding exists that the body could be revived at any time.
